Rail Wheel Factory Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Educational Qualification
The candidates willing to undergo training under the Apprentices’ Act, 1961, in this Factory, must have passed 10th Class Examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks, from recognized Boards, as on the date of issue of Notification and also possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the designated trade in which this administration is imparting training, issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
Eligible Trade & Apprentice Period
The training in the designated trades of Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Turner, Electrician and Electronic Mechanic will be for a period of one year. Whereas the period of training for COE Group (CNC Programming-cum-Operator), is for a period of six months. Training will be arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council.
Rail Wheel Factory Apprentice 2025 Age Limit
The candidate should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years as on 01/03/2025, i.e. date of issue of Notification.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 03 years in case of OBC candidates as per extant instructions of Railway Board and as amended from to time.
Rail Wheel Factory Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Application Fees
The candidates are required to enclose an Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft from any Nationalised Bank of Rs.100/- as processing fee, drawn in favour of “Principal Financial Adviser/Rail Wheel Factory“, along with application form, which is not refundable.
No Fees is required to be paid by SC/ST/ Physically handicapped/ Women candidates. Applications not accompanied with processing fee, wherever required, will be summarily rejected. Candidates may please note that these.
Rail Wheel Factory Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of merit list prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in 10th Std/Matriculation or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. For the purpose of calculation of percentage of marks obtained in 10th Std/Matriculation or its equivalent marks obtained by the candidates in all the subjects as indicated in the said marks sheet, will be reckoned and not on the basis of marks of any subject or a group of subjects.
Rate of Stipend
During their period of apprenticeship training in this Factory, the candidates undergoing training in the trades of Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Turner, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic will be paid a stipend of Rs.12,261/- per month, while for CNC Programming-cum-Operator, a stipend of Rs.10,899/- per month, will be paid as per extant rules amended from time to time.
Required Documents
Self attested photocopies of the these certificates to be enclosed along with the application.
- 10th Std/Matriculation or its equivalent marks certificate with at least 50% of marks, with Date of Birth as proof of age.
- National Trade Certificate (NTC) isshued by NCVT.
- Caste Certificate.
- PwBD/ Disability Certificate if Applicable.
- Two identical passport size photographs duly self attested and firmly stiched in separate cover to the application form (apart from one copy pasted on the application form).
