Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the ITI examination in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.

Exclusion Clause: Candidates whose “contract ID” has already been generated under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 due to prior apprenticeship training in any other organization are not eligible to apply.

SAIL IISCO Apprentice 2026 Selection Process

Merit-Based Selection: Shortlisting and selection of candidates will be determined strictly by the aggregate percentage of marks scored during the ITI qualification in the specified trade and category.

Tie-Breaker Rule: In the event of identical aggregate marks between candidates, preference in order of merit will be given to the candidate who is older in age.
