DSSSB Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Educational requirements vary strictly depending on the post code selected:

• TGT (Computer Science): BCA / Graduation in Computer Science / BE or B.Tech (CS/IT) / ‘A’ level course from DOEACC.

• Special Educator (Primary): Class 12th pass along with a 2-year D.Ed in Special Education (or RCI recognized equivalent diploma) and clearing the CTET (Primary Stage).

• I.T. Assistant Grade-A: Class 12th pass with a proven data entry typing speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour (KDPH).

• Junior Scientific Assistant (JSA): Master’s degree in the relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Forensic Science, or Toxicology).

• Fitter / Lift Operator: ITI certificate in the respective trade.

DSSSB Recruitment 2026 Age Limit (As on 15/07/2026)

• Teaching & Group ‘B’ Posts: Maximum 30 years (not exceeding).

• Technical & Group ‘C’ Posts: Usually 18 to 27 years.

• Lift Operator / Fitter Grade-II: Up to 32 or 37 years based on specific trade rules.

• Note: Category-based age relaxation applies as per Delhi Government rules (OBC: 3 years, SC/ST: 5 years, PwBD: 10 years).

DSSSB Application Fees

Fees must be processed entirely online via SBI ePay:

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹100

• SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Exempted (No Fee)

• Women Candidates (All Categories): Exempted (No Fee)

DSSSB Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance across the following filters:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): A comprehensive written tier evaluation.

2. Skill / Typing / Trade Test: Mandatory only for specific applicable posts (like IT Assistant or Fitter).

3. Document Verification (DV): Reviewing original academic records.

4. Medical Examination: Final clearance stage.

Note: There is a negative marking threshold of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response in the CBT Examination.
